Jess' Garden

This area was 100% grass, and over the years I have decreased - and now totally removed - the grass and replaced it with a pollinator friendly garden. 

The yard was full of ornamentals and invasives when we bought it, and over the years we have removed them and continue to decrease the amount of grass. 

This shared house is constantly a jungle, happily thriving at the Oregon Coast. I have been working on decreasing the grass here as well as adding pollinator friendly plants. 

The beach house has a small, southern facing slope that was overgrown with blackberries and covered in crocosmia, and had bunnies living in it. The bunnies created some stability issues which we have been working on fixing by cutting back the blackberries and adding native plants for erosion control.
