Jess' Garden

I've lived in Newberg since 2014, and this yard has seen many changes! We removed multiple invasive species, and have been steadily decreasing the amount of grass. Starting in Fall 2022 I turned the front yard into a pollinator garden, later transitioning to a focus on native plants. We have a mix of full sun to full shade areas, and one area that stays pretty damp all year round.

The Front Yard

This area was 100% grass, and over the years I have decreased - and now totally removed - the grass and replaced it with a pollinator friendly garden.
